Eligibility
The Cinemanila Machinima Film Festival is open to all individuals or groups, whether amateur, professional or independent. Entries must be the sole work and/or justly represented by the entrant. Collaborative pieces must include credits for additional contributors. All entries should have been developed using a real-time 3D or 2D game engine and/or virtual environment. Submitted machinima works should be original and not have been screened publicly prior the festival. The entrant agrees that he/she has obtained all rights to display and/or distribute submitted works. We reserve the right to disqualify any submissions that do not comply with this rule. In addition, Cinemanila Machinima cannot be held liable in the event that rights have not been obtained and places sole liability on the entrant in securing these rights. Entrants of submitted machinimas retain all rights to their work, except for the rights for the festival to use the work for promotional purposes. Submitting a Machinima work to the 1st Cinemanila Machinima Film Festival certifies that: Cinemanila Machinima reserves the right to disclose and distribute the names of all entrants for public viewing.
