Krrish Spyker's ambitious and eerie machinima is like a half-deranged dramatization of philosophy's free will versus determinism problem, were it visualized for MTV. Good voice acting, sound editing, and writing, matched to smoky, desaturated cinematography that fits the metaphysical strangeness of it all. And because it's shot in Second Life, the theme takes on double or triple meaning. We already wonder how much of our real lives are pre-scripted, but how about hyper-glamorous, club kid avatars with scripted animations interacting in a virtual world?
